Waste Reduction Internet Manual

This manual was designed as a self-help tool for companies wishing to undertake a program aimed at reducing the cost of their waste.

The Manual was prepared by the Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC) using funds from the Federal Government Department of Industry, Science and Resources to help improve industry profitability in an environmentally responsible way.

The Manual can be used by individual companies, or sections of companies, and does not depend on the group environment, or an external consultant, for its usefulness.

The Manual is divided into four principal sections each of which provides guidelines for a company or an industry to structure its own Waste Reduction Program by addressing the key elements of each section, described in the sections of Manual.
