Waste Minimisation Overview

The purpose of this section is to publicise the National Industry Waste Minimisation Project currently being facilitated by the Advanced Manufacturing Centre.

The Federal Department of Industry, Science and Resources has funded the project in which six industry groups will work co-operatively to identify, research and implement solutions that help minimise manufacturing waste.

The project has been developed and delivered over two stages, covering a two year time frame. The initial stage covered working with groups within industry sectors throughout 2001 with the knowledge gained from these projects to be transferred.
