Introduction

The Environment is rapidly becoming a major issues for industry. These issues can be addressed by such headings as Waste Management, Environmental Systems, Environmental Protection and Sustainability.

Increasingly both large and small companies are required to be aware of regulatory legislation, community needs, long term impacts and environmental performance.

Increasingly, there is a belief that the cure to resource waste is profitable, creative and practical. At the same time, organisations that do not understand the impact of their operations on ecosystems may well be risking their future sustainability.

The Sustainability Business Development Program is aimed at raising the awareness of the many issues involved in the transformation of an organisaiton from being resource intensive to becoming sustainable and eventually restorative enterprises.
