Mission Statement for Member Companies

As a Western Sydney business, we accept that our environmental responsibilities are a vital and integral part of our operations. We are committed to attaining and maintaining high environmental standards and to work towards sustainability.

Our goals are to:

• Minimise pollution
• Conserve resources
• Comply with relevant legislation
• Contribute to our local community
• Communicate with all our stakeholders
• Monitor amd report on our performance

  We recognise that it is desirable to progress towards more sustainable outcomes that reflect improved environmental performance, social responsibility and economic efficiency. We shall complete the Western Sydney Industry Sustainability Statement annually and as a minimum, include information on:

• The validity of our activities
• Resources consumed
• By products generated
• Engaging our stakeholders
• The impacts of our products/activities over their lifecycle.

  Our participation in the ISI program demonstrates our commitment to sustainable business practices, on-going monitoring and review of our activities and contributing towards a sustainable Western Sydney environment for the future.
