Outreach Program
Roles and Responsibilities
The Advanced Manufacturing Centre provides the central project management
role and will ensure timely communication and research requirements
between member companies, NSW EPA (now known as the NSW Department
of Environment and Conservation) and other stakeholders. The AMC
has already committed significant in-kind support and infrastructure
resources to this project. Their specific roles is to:
1. Establish group and maintain commitment
2. Develop and facilitate workshops
3. Provide up to date and relevant communication between all parties
4. Research areas identified within workshops and source experts and
processes
5. Provide assistance in developing individual company implementation
plans and breakthrough programs
6. Report on milestones and outcomes to the NSW EPA (NSW DEC)
7. Provide expert advice and on-site mentoring to all companies
The Participating Companies are expected to demonstrate their commitment
to the program through providing in-kind contributions in the form of:
1. Attendance at workshops and providing input to these
2. Examining existing practices in-house for improvements
3. Identifying priority areas and allocating resources
4. Developing implementation plans as appropriate
5. Providing feedback to AMC as required
6. Sharing experiences within the group
7. Collaborate, where appropriate, with other companies
