Community Outreach Program

Aims

The AMC's Integrating Social Responsibility - A research and Roadmap Project for Business (ISR) aims to:

• establish a draft Roadmap to guide manufacturing companies in undertaking Community Outreach Programs directed at contributing to environmental improvement in the broader community.
• trial the approach in a pilot group of about 10 companies
• establish an understanding on what motivates companies to undertake Community Outreach Programs, what benefits they believe they obtain from such programs and how they communicate the outcomes of such programs to the broader community
• develop a report which will provide the basis for expanding such a Community Outreach Program into the manufacturing industry.
