Community Outreach Program

Program Background

Working with Environmental Managers of various AMC Focus Groups an opportunity arose to develop a program to assit memeber companies in addressing their environmental goals in working with the broader community.

Many companies are striving to become leaders in corporate citizenship and have expressed a great interst in committing themselves to improve the local environment and enhance environmental awareness. However, many of them do not have the strategies or understanding of where and how to become involved with the community.

To expand this opportunity across some of the leading companies that are actively committed to their environmental objectives would create a group of industry professionals from environmentally responsible businesses who are keen to make a difference in their community.
