    AMC MITA regional Hunter Launch - Newcastle

    - On Thursday 25th of March; 9:30am - 1.00pm the Advanced Manufacturing Centre, will hold the first of AMC's new MITA regional project in the Hunter Region at the Hunter Trade & Investment Centre, Newcastle: Level 3, 251 Wharf Rd, Newcastle
    A two hour session will set the vision and begin to explore the opportunities for interested participants from industry, tertiary institutions and government in MITA. A keynote speaker, presenters from Hunternet and the AMC will address attendees followed by a workshop session to confirm industry interest and regional priorities.

    28.10.03 - On Wednesday 28th of October; 9:00am - 1.30pm the Advanced Manufacturing Centre, held its Annual Cross Industry Forum at the Bankstown Sports Centre - this involved a showcase of company achievements in various core elements such as Innovation, Organisational Improvement, IT, Design, Environment, Sustainability and Life-long learning, this was followed by networking over lunch. It was a chance for members and associates to share their experiences and strengthen the bonds between industry sectors.

    NSW EPA & AMC 'Profiting from Cleaner Production' Forum and Site Tours

    21.05.03 - On Friday 6th of June; 9:15am - 4pm the NSW Environment Protection Authority, with the support of the Advanced Manufacturing Centre, is holding a 'Profiting from Cleaner Production'" Forum, followed by Industry Site Tours as part of Western Sydney's Environment Week activities.This will provide an opportunity for you and your colleagues to learn first-hand how to increase business profits from cleaner production.You will also learn how a group of 12 companies, supported by the EPA's Industry Partnership Program, have identified cleaner production savings of $1.3 million per annum.There is no cost associated with attending this event. The AMC BTM Quick changeover Awards Program commences on 14th April 2003 with entry remaining open until 30th June 2003.The program concludes in November 2003 with the judging of changeover Improvement Projects and the Awards presentation will take place in early December 2003.
